Henry Shepley

Henry grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he attended R.J. Reynolds High School. He later earned a degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University, along with double minors in Business and Military Science. During his time at ECU, Henry participated in the Army ROTC program and enlisted in the North Carolina National Guard as an Infantryman. After graduation, Henry was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and served as an Engineer Officer in the Army Corps of Engineers for five years, including a nine-month deployment to Kandahar, Afghanistan. Following his military service, he returned to Raleigh, North Carolina, and co-founded Combat Construction Company, where he currently serves as Chief Financial Officer. Henry and his wife, Carly, have one son and are excited to welcome a daughter this fall. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time with their family at the beach, cheering on the East Carolina Pirates, and staying active through fitness, tennis, and golf. They are also active members of Hayes Barton United Methodist Church and are passionate about giving back to their community through service, volunteerism, and philanthropy.
