Henry Shepley
Henry grew up in Winston-Salem, NC. He attended RJ Reynolds high school and then went on to East Carolina University, where he studied Construction Management. Henry enrolled in the Army ROTC program and enlisted in the NC National Guard. After graduating, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army as an Engineer Officer. Henry served five years in the Army Corps of Engineers, including a nine-month deployment to Kandahar Afghanistan. After exiting the Army, he moved back to Raleigh NC with his wife Carly, and their son, Tucker, and two Golden retrievers, Murphy and Maddy. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching the ECU pirates play, and playing golf.
Chris Fody
Chris grew up in Raleigh, NC. He attended Cardinal Gibbons High School and then went on to East Carolina University, where he graduated with a BS in Construction Management. Chris enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves after High School, where he served as a Tank Commander. Chris has worked in the Heavy Civil Construction Industry for the past ten years, serving communities throughout the Triangle and Eastern North Carolina. Chris currently lives in Raleigh with his Fiancé, Hallie Williams and their two golden retrievers, Goose and Cash. Chris enjoys spending time outside hunting, exercising, and playing golf.
Johnathan Lewis
Meet Johnathan Lewis, a Raleigh, NC native with a passion for construction and business. After graduating from Sanderson High School, he pursued a Business Administration degree at Campbell University, followed by an MBA. With diverse roles ranging from Project Engineer to Vice President, Johnathan brings extensive industry experience to Combat Construction Company. Outside work, he enjoys beach trips, golfing, and outdoor activities with his wife, Amanda Lewis and his two children Camden and Aubrey. Johnathan's dedication to excellence and leadership guides Combat Construction towards continued success and innovation in the construction industry.
Edgar Duran
General Superintendent / DL Built Co-Owner
Meet Edgar Duran, a dedicated professional with roots in Mexico and a thriving career in the US construction industry. Since moving to the United States in 2004, Edgar has amassed valuable expertise in clearing, grading, and utilities, progressing from an equipment operator to the esteemed role of General Superintendent at Combat Construction. Additionally, he serves as Co-Owner of our subsidiary company, DL Built. Edgar resides in Clayton with his wife and four children, where they bond over outdoor adventures and fishing excursions. Edgar's unwavering passion and commitment to excellence drive him both professionally and personally, making him an invaluable asset to our team and a cherished member of his community
