Henry grew up in Winston-Salem, NC. He attended RJ Reynolds high school and then went on to East Carolina University, where he studied Construction Management. Henry was also enrolled in the Army ROTC program and had enlisted in the NC National Guard.
After graduating, he was commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant in the US Army as an Engineer Officer. Henry served five years in the Army Corps of Engineers, including a nine-month deployment to Kandahar Afghanistan. After exiting the Army, he moved back to Raleigh NC with his wife Carly, and their son, Tucker, and two Golden retrievers, Murphy and Maddy.
He then went on to start Combat Construction Company with Chris Fody. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching the ECU pirates play, and playing golf.
